Sent with so much love...

Hello!  I have a new card to share with you.
This digital image was drawn by Krista Smith
and is called "Hand Me Downs."
I love her sweet little dress and socks!
So adorable!!

I, also, added a cute little image
of bird carrying a letter.
I'm sorry, but at the moment I cannot
remember where it is from.

The papers I used to create this card, were perfect, I think,
as there was a vintage bird cage imprinted on them.
So, I cut out the cage and layered it on the card
with dimensional dots.  I did the same with the
bird in flight.

...to give you a future filled with hope

Something new from me today!

This card is constructed very differently than most
the cards I make, and it is much heavier,
because of the multiple layers
of cardstock used to build it.

I found a tutorial online done by "Tracy loves to scrap"
HERE, so if you want to make one
you can follow her instructions, as I did.
(She makes wonderful tutorials!!)

The above blog directed me to another blog with
some of the most beautiful cards I have EVER seen.
Marianne is from Norway and here's a link:
Marianne's Papirverden

I could definitely spend hours gazing at all her stunning artwork
and I'm sure you will as well!

Here's my attempt to make a card similar to her's.
I colored a "Tilda" stamp from Magnolia,
but I don't remember it's name!  (sowwy!)  I love to color
Tilda, as she's just so adorable,
even though she doesn't have a nose or mouth!!  ;)

Here's what you see when you open the card:
Above is a scripture:

"I know the plans
I have in mind for you,
declares the Lord;
they are plans for peace,
not disaster,
to give you a future
filled with hope."

Jeremiah 29:11

Here's a closer look at the inside,
to show you the "wings" on each side.
The blank space is for writing one's own sentiment.

Card ingredients:

Closed size:  7" wide x 6" tall

Sentiment:
  Scripture verse
printed on my HP PhotoSmart

Cardstock used to build the card:
Bazzill (thanks Sandi!)

Patterned Papers used:
Prima Botannical Collection

Copic Markers used to color Tilda:

Skin:  E000, E00, E21, R20, R21
Hair:  E40, E42, E44
Romper and socks:  V000, V12
Blouse and shoes:  E40, E42
Flowers:  V09, V12, V15
Leaves:  G000, YG91, YG93

Embellishments:
Kaiser "snow" half pearls (colored to match with Copic Markers)
Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts Roses
Leaves made by a friend (Thanks Cathy!)
(and I hope to learn how she makes them in a class soon!)
Lavender Stickles

Inks:
Ranger Antique Linen

Dies used:
Spellbinders
"Petite Ovales large and Scalloped Petite Ovals large"

Punch used:
Martha Stewart
"Eyelet Lace"

Thank you for stopping by my blog today,
to take a peek at what I've been working on.

I'm always thankful when you do!!

...hello!

I've been coloring up a storm for the last few weeks,
so I have another card to share with you today.

During my recent trip to Arizona, my Sister-in-Law, Sandi,
sent me home with tons of card making goodies. :D
In making this card, I used some of that stash.
Let me apologize, right now, for the not so good photos!  :(

I used a digital stamp image called "Alisa with Roses"
drawn by Mo Manning from Mo's Digital Pencil.

Here's a close up of Alisa,
so that you can see all the detail in the image.
Isn't she just precious?

I really enjoyed coloring her with my Copic Markers,
then attempted to set her in a garden scene.
I hope you get that feeling when you look at my card!

I fussy cut her out and mounted her with dots
and the rose papers behind her are also "popped up"
from the background paper
to give dimension to the whole piece.

Here's the inside of the card.

Card Ingredients:
Card size:  5.5 x 5.75 inches.
Sentiment:  Made by me.

Card stock used:
Bazzill, with scalloped edge (from my SIL, Sandi!)

Patterned Papers:
My Mind's Eye:  Lost & Found, Blush 6" x 6" Designer Paper Pad.

Copics used:
Skin, Lips:  E000, E01, E21, RV32, RV34
Hair:  E25,E31,E51
Roses:  RV32, RV34, R85
Flower Buds:  BG10, BG11
Leaves:  YG03, YG11
Basket:  E42, E31
Dress:  RV000, RV32
Sand:  E42

Embellishments:
White Kaiser half pearls
(some colored with Copics RV34)
Roses from Prima
Vintage-Style Forget Me Not Millinery Flowers
from Popalicioustoo @ Etsy.
Tiny pink glittery butterflies from K&Company

Punch:
Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page, Deep Cut
Double Loops (also from SIL Sandi!)

That cute little fence was cut
with my Silhouette Cameo.

Other:
Sakura "Glaze" Pen on image roses
Stickles Baby Blue on image flowers
Signage hanger from stash jute
Pop dots

Thank you for popping in to take a look at my card!
I'm so happy you did!

Carol's Crazy Card Class

I took a class at my favorite craft store,
Memories of Time (MOT), this past Saturday,
so I was excited to share with you the adorable cards we made.

They were so much fun to make using the
Carol chose to use to design the cards.  We
made 4 cards, in all, and what a blast that was!!

I used Carol's photo, so I wouldn't have to take the
time to photograph mine.  I hope that's OK Carol!!  :)

The cards are so colorful and, well, Spring-ish!!!  LOL
Everything used to make the cards was in the LYB line,
except for maybe the buttons and cording we used.

As you can see, two of the cards were folded cards.  One
was a tri-shutter fold card and the other was a center step card.

Well, this post will be short, because I don't have a long list of
ingredients to share with you.  LOL

Thanks for stopping by to take a look
at what I've been up to!

I hope your week is blessed!!
