A Day For Daisies and is called

It depicts a young girl wearing an over-sized wedding gown

A card of a different sort to share....

Hello!  I'm so pleased you wandered
by my blog today.

I have a card to share that was
created for a class I taught on Wednesday, 3/13.

The base and inside of the card was made
using an Accucut die and looks
like Chinoiserie.

I didn't know what they were called
until one of the gals in the class
(thanks Gwen!)
shared the name and told us a bit
about Chinoiserie history.

The papers used to make this card,
are from Graphic 45
 Bird Song Collection.

The image on the front was fussy cut
from the collection, then glued to black
card stock, then fussy cut again,
and applied
to the screen with pop dots.

The closure is with a magnet.

*click on the photos to enlarge them*

Once you lift the magnet closure,
and open both sides of the card,
this is what you see:

This card is embellished with an Asian medallion and a tassel
on the right side, and a sentiment spot on the left.

In the middle of the card is a beautiful water scene,
from the Bird Song collection.  The
flowers have been enhanced with Stickles.

The Accucut Die used:
Shadowbox, Landscape 1 and 2

Thank you for dropping in
to see my latest project!

God Bless your day,

With Love

Don't you just love it when a child
brings you a handful of flowers?
I love the look of sheer delight
and love in their eyes!!

I think that's why I was drawn to this
digi image
from A Day for Daisies,
because it captures that wonderful moment
so beautifully and reminds me of my children
and grand blessings! :)

(Please click on the photos to enlarge)

The image is called "Look what I brought you"
and you can find it here.

You can see that the inside of my card
mirrors the outside and that I used the tag
for a place to add sentiment.

Card ingredients:

Card size:
6" x  6"

Base Cardstock:  Bazzill

DP used:
Kaiser Craft 6.5" Paper Pad:  Pink Gelato

Valentine Matchbox and Card Set

Valentine's Day is just around the corner
so I thought I'd design a sweet little
treat or trinket box
and make a card to go along
with it.

*please click to enlarge photos*

The box is 3 1/4" square and has an ornately edged,
and ribbon wrapped, belly band around it.
Placed on top of the belly band is a
handmade paper rose, which
has been sprayed with Pearl Glimmer Mist
and a few scattered, tiny "dew drops"
were added with Glossy Accents.

I used an Our Craft Lounge
Stamp set called "Notes of Love"
to create the card which is 3" square and islayered with DP and Glitter Cardstock.

I stamped two of the heart images, then embossed
one of them with black embossing powder.
The second image was colored with Copic Markers,
then fussy cut and glued over the first image.

Red rhinestones were placed on
the image for added bling.

The inside on the card,
and the 3 1/4" square envie,
were stamped with other stamps from the set.

Ingredients:

Cardstock used:
Bazzill Red

DP used:
Fancy Pants Country Boutique "Lydia"

AccuCut Box Die:
Matchbox #2 - Crease

Copic Markers used:
R22, R24, R29

Ribbon used:
Black and white polka dot organdy

Edge Punch:
Martha Stewart Garden Rail

Dies used:
Spellbinders "Donna Salazar Rose Creations"
Quilted Creations "Blooming Roses"
My Favorite Things Die-namics "Royal Leaves"

Inks used:
Momento Tuxedo Black Stamp Pad
Ranger Distress Ink:  Victorian Velvet

For embossing:
VersaMark Watermark Stamp Pad
American Crafter's ZING! Black Embossing Powder
(thanks Sandi!)

Tools used:
AccuCut
Big Shot
Quilling slotted tool
Cutter Bees
We R Memories Piercing Mat
Shape Tool
Heat Tool (thanks Sandi!)

Merry Christmas!

Wishing you a Merry Christmas
and a
Happy New Year!

I'm sharing a fun little gift idea with you today.
I recently taught a class on how to make
these quick and easy totes,
complete with 4 - 3" x 3" note cards and envies,
and a Post-It note holder.
We couldn't go wrong with this gorgeous G45 paper
and the great stamps we used!

I used 4 different stamps from the "Our Craft Lounge"
stamp set called, "Oriental Garden."  They
were perfect for the size of these little cards.

I've made many, many of these totes, and when I do, I usually
make 10 at a time so that I have them around
for emergency gift giving.

I'm sharing a link here for instructions
and a video tutorial, so that you
can make them as well.

You may have to join Splitcoast Stampers
be able to see them.

DP:  Graphic 45:  Bird Song Collection.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment
and I will reply asap.

Thanks for stopping by to see what I've been up to!
