She's called "Priscilla Pie," awwwwww, cute name, huh?
I think it matches her "cuteness."

Hoppin' by to say...

Happy Easter!!!

I had an opportunity to take a class last Saturday
and had a blast making this card, thanks to the teacher,
Tammie, and the other gals who attended.

As one who
rarely uses stamps,
this was both a challenge AND a learning experience!
First of all, I rarely color animals, so that was new,
then toss in using stamps and I felt a bit awkward, but
I had fun and it all turned out fine. LOL

This adorable stamp image is from a set called "Peanut Bunny"
and is a Crafty Clear Stamp from Our Craft Lounge.
You can find it at Memories of Time.
(Please tell Michelle that Marilou sent you!)

Here's the inside:

Here's a side view:

The last photo is, hopefully, close enough that you can see
all the extra embellishing I did when making my card.

See the white sparkly fluff on Peanut Bunny's ears and tail?

See her finger and toenails?  Cute, huh?

Ok, now for all the little details:

Card ingredients:

Ink for sponging and dying ribbon:  Momento Tuxedo Black and Rose Bud.

Ribbon used:  Hug Snug seam binding (which I dyed with the Momento Rose Bud).

Embellishments:  Pebbles Pearl pins and assorted beads, Fluff on Elephant ears and tail:  Our Craft Lounge Sugar Sparkly Stuff.

Safari 3D Easel Card

I'm excited to share something different with you today.
It's a 3D Easel Birthday card!

This is the face of the card.  I made mine 7" wide and 5.25" tall.

This adorable, quick, and easy to make "printable" card
comes from the design work of Barbara Clooney.
Graphics © Kristi Dailey

Barbara, who lives in Wales, UK, has been a Professional Designer
since 2002, and has a "store" at Aimee Asher.

Aimee Asher is a Printable and Digital Crafting Mall,
where you can find wonderful things to create
from 41 gifted artists and designers.

Please go check it out!  The links are there for you to click on!

I really enjoy making this type of card,
especially when I need something different and in a hurry!
Barbara supplies all the instructions needed to make it a fun experience for you.

Here is a side view showing you all the detail in the layering.

I hope you can see the glitter I added around the tree leaves and the boy's hat.
I used a Martha Stewart glitter pen
to give the headlights some pzazz, then used Glossy Accents
to give dimension and gloss.  I, also,
added black half pearls, here and there,
and an orange bird to one of the trees.

What little one wouldn't love this very colorful and FUN card?
I have several grandsons, so this will, no doubt, go to one or more of them this year!

When one opens the card, this is what you will see!

It's a wonderful safari card, that is easily embellished as you wish.

It even comes with a designed envelope (this is the front).

I chose to print mine from 110 lb card stock (same as the card).

Here's the back of the envelope and the front of the card.

Isn't it sweet??

Thank you for coming by to see what I've made.

I pray your day will be Blessed beyond your imagination!
