Thank you so much...

I was inspired to make a card using this beautiful digital paper set
from Nitwit Collections called "Purdy."  I loved its vintage look and it's rich deep red and green hues.
(I went to snag you a link, and it seems that it's no longer available in the shop,
but if you're interested, contact Mary Fran and ask her about the set.)

I thought this particular Matilda stamp, called "Tilda Holding Bunch of Roses," would be the perfect match to go with the papers.

After coloring her with my Copics, I trimmed around her and layered her on the
antique off-white background  paper with dots.

I made my very first beaded hat pin for this card and colored the pearl at the top of the pin
with
Copics to match the roses Tilda is holding.

Card Recipe:

Card is 6" x 6"

Sentiment:  my own.

Papers:  Green card stock from Stampin' Up.  Patterned papers from Nitwit Collections.

Copics used to color the Tilda image.

Embellishments:  Ruby Paper Blooms from Kaiser Craft, beaded hat pin with glass and metal beads, 1/2 pearls colored with Copics, Offray deep red ribbon, and Diamond Stickles (used on the centers of the roses she's holding.

Tools:  Fiskar's edge punch "Threading Water", EK Success "Fern" punch, My Favorite Things Die-namics Fancy Flourish die.

I'm sorry it's been so long since I last posted a card, but "my life" got in the way of my crafting time.  I'm thrilled to have finally had the time to complete and share this card with you.  Thank you so much for stopping by!!
