Sweet Nellie's: Connie

This lovely image can be found at Funky Kits.  She's so pretty, but looks a bit sad too.  It makes me want to give her a hug, how about you?  I colored her with Copics, and added punched flowers and leaves, and the tiny bow.  I used Stickles on her buttons and hair ribbons, too.  Love that sparkle!!  EK Success's Abstract Flower edger is down the left side with added half pearls.  The paper was purchased for next to nothing at Ross!  Love their prices!!

Thanks for stopping by to take a peak and for any comments you may leave!  Big Hugs to you.  Chemo is completed and today is my BD, so it's a wonderful way to start my healing!! xoxo <3

You made my day!

Don't you just love Tilda?  Me, too!!  LOL  I colored with my Copics.  The sparkly papers are The Blossoms & Butterflies Stack from DCWV.  The other papers are some from my stash of scraps, so who knows!  I added flowers and lots of half pearls and a pink polka dot ribbon.  The sentiment is from Paulette at  Create with TLC.  It's in her Thank You x10 set.

Thanks for taking a look see!!  Have a Blessed Day!! xoxo

Cleared for Take Off

I don't seem to make very many cards for men, but when I downloaded these awesome freebies at Create with TLC, I knew I'd be using them for Father's Day for my FIL.  I love that they are very masculine!! Paulette not only provided the Bi-plane digi, but the sentiment AND the papers as well!  Hurry on over and get yours.

I colored the digi image with my Copics in three shades of blue (B93, 95, 97) and I used CO for the ground shadow.  I added a coordinating star button I found in my button box and tied it with ecru DMC cotton perle.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look.  Have a great day!

Bouquet Bracelet

Something really different from me today.  While recovering from chemo this week I made this bracelet.  I've not been making jewelry for a few years, and I just had a hankering to do it again.  I used Japanese glass seed beads and an assortment of other glass flowers and leaves.  I absolutely love the colors of the beads I used and the movement that it has.  I'm not sure it's done, as I think I will add a few more baubles to the middle of it.  We'll see...

I hope you have an amazing day!!  Thanks for  taking a peak!! xoxo

Congratulations Graduate!!

I made this card for a Graduation I'm attending tomorrow evening and I'm hoping the  wonderful young woman I made it for doesn't see it before I give it to her.  LOL  She's worked so hard to earn her AAS degree in Nursing, and I'm so proud of her!!

The image is called "Lola Rose - Pretty" and she's from Pink Petticoat. A graduation cap (mortorboard) was added and layered on a dot for dimension.  I purchased the papers from my local scrap shop, Memories of Time today (on sale!! :) )  They're from Prima Marketing, the Botanical Collection, "Beloved" and "Missing you."  I loved them the minute I spotted them.  I added rhinestone bling, and used two different edge punches: EK Success's Abstract Flower, and Fiskars' Treading water (I think).  The ribbon is also from my local scrap shop, MOT.  I made the sentiment for the card.

Your comments continue to encourage and uplift my spirits!!  Thank you so much for leaving them for me!!  xoxo <3

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!!

Frillie Millie

This adorable little digital image is from Pink Petticoat and she's called Frillie Millie with Bonbon (I cut Bonbon out of the digi ;) ).  She's colored with Copics and I layered the bottom part of her skirt and the flower on her head.  The multi-layered papers are from Pink Petticoat as well.  I added black half pearls and an animal print ribbon  and bow.  All the "stitch work" was done digitally.

I always look forward to your visits, so please come back often.  Comments are not only welcomed, but I enjoy sending a reply as well.  :)  Have a wonderful Sunday! xoxo

I'd rather be in the garden...

Today I'm sharing another card made with an adorable Sarah Kay image.  I love these colors together!!

The papers are from the "Promises Collection" at Nitwit Collections.  The set has gorgeous papers and elements to work with!!  I hand punched two different styles and sizes of flowers from card stock, then hand embossed them (I don't actually know what to call what I did to them).  I misted them with water, then used my embossing tools to form them into what you see.  LOL  I had to add some bling to each and every one of them!!  The leaves were punched from card stock with a rock fern punch.  You can see that I used lavender Stickles, but if I can find some blue to match the flowers, then I'm not done adding the Stickles!!  LOL  I also added a small round white paper doily behind the image.  I created the sentiment for this one.

Here's a close up look at the flowers.

Thank you for stopping in to see my cards.  I haven't been putting one up every day, but I try to!!  LOL  Thank you for your comments and encouragement as I learn to make my cards.

What's cooking?

Another of Mo's Digital Pencil's lovely images, "What's Cookin'?"  I loved this little image the minute I saw her and managed to get her for a pittance as Mo had a fundraising special.  She's colored with my Copics.  I cut her out and set her on dots.  The vintage paper is from October Afternoon; it's called "The Thrift Shop:  Needs Paint."  Cute name, huh?  Used some Hero Arts flowers, half pearls, the edge of a fancy napkin, and a bit of ribbon to bling her up.  I made my own WA for this one.

Thanks for coming by to take a peak today.  It always make my day to read your comments!  God Bless your day.
